Nelson, Nov 19 (CRICKETNMORE) Riding on Amy Satterthwaite's brilliant century, New Zealand defeated Pakistan by five wickets in the fifth One-Day International (ODI) of the International Cricket Council (ICC) women's championship at the Saxton Oval here on Saturday.
Chasing a target of 220, New Zealand started off on a good note as opener Satterthwaite slammed 123 runs before she was sent back to the pavilion by Sadia Yousuf in 33rd over. Her 99-ball knock was laced with 18 boundaries.
Katie Perkins was the second best scorer for the hosts with 23 runs from 38 balls.
