Indian fast bowler Navdeep Saini isn't with team India at the moment, but nevertheless, the player has been able to get the limelight occasionally. At this time, Saini is playing in the Royal London Cup for Kent County Cricket Club. 29-year-old Saini is among the 7 Indian players who are participating in this English domestic cricket tournament. 

Names like Cheteshwar Pujara and Washington Sundar have already gathered traction with their impeccable performances in England. However, the Haryana-born pacer Navdeep Saini has not only displayed good performance with the ball but has now surprised everyone with the bat in his hand as well. On Thursday (August 4th), in the Royal London Cup match against Glamorgan, Navdeep Saini played an unbelievable shot which surprised the fans.

Navdeep Saini came on to bat in the last over after Kent lost their 8th wicket in the form of Matthew Quinn (3) and in the very same over Navdeep Saini played an incredible scoop shot for a four. A video of the same was posted by the official Kent Cricket on Twitter, which is now getting viral. Even though Kent managed only 1 run off the first 4 deliveries of the last over, Saini took the onus on him to take the total across 300. 

Jamie Mcllroy was bowling around the wicket to Saini and bowled the 5th delivery on the stumps. However, Saini had an answer for this delivery and even though Saini is considered a tail-ender, he played a proper batter's shot for a well-placed boundary.

While talking about the match, after being put in to bat first, Kent posted 304/8, courtesy of Joe Evison (109), captain Alex Blake (66) and Oliver Robinson (50). In reply, Colin Ingram smashed 155 runs off 148 balls for Glamorgan while wicket-keeper Tom Cullen scored 80 runs as Glamorgan chased down the target in 48.2 overs, winning the match by 3 wickets. This match was played at Sophia Gardens, Cardiff.
