N Jagadeesan has been in blazing form in the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy and has now attained a World Record, previously achieved by no one. With his 5th consecutive ton in List A Cricket, N Jagadeesan has broken the record of Sri Lankan legend Kumar Sangakkara, South Africa's Alviro Petersen and Devdutt Padikkal, who had smacked 4 consecutive centuries.

N Jagadeesan started his ton run with the match against Andhra Pradesh, where he smacked 114* runs off 112 balls. In the next match, Jagadeesan scored 107 runs in 113 balls against Chattisgarh, followed by a 140-ball-168 knock against Goa.

Amidst this, Jagadeesan and B Sai Sudharshan broke the record for the highest partnership for any wicket in List A cricket, etching 416 runs in just 38.3 overs.
