Mumbai Indians Appoint Vinay Kumar As Talent Scout

Former India fast bowler R. Vinay Kumar has joined Mumbai Indians as a talent scout. 

Kumar is the second recent player to join the MI scouting division after Parthiv Patel, who too retired from international cricket recently. 

“I am honored for this opportunity to associate with Mumbai Indians again. Mumbai Indians strives for excellence in every aspect of the game, and scouting talents is undoubtedly their key strength. It’s a new chapter and personally, I reckon it as an opportunity for me to give back to cricket," Vinay said.

Vinay Kumar was part of Mumbai Indians' two title-winning campaigns in 2015 & 20017. He called it a day on his 17-year-old first-class career in February 2021.
