MI vs CSK IPL 2022: Mukesh Choudhary, a name Chennai Super Kings have backed without any conditions in this IPL, displayed lethal swing as he dismissed both openers of Mumbai Indians for a duck in the first over of the innings! The bowler asserted his control over the el Classico with his strikes in the very first over. 

On the second ball of the first over, Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma failed to read an inswinger on full length. The MI skipper leaned forward to push the ball, but the bat turned on the impact, the ball took the inner half and was lobbed to the mid-on. Santner easily completed the catch to dismiss the captain for a two-ball duck. 

After a wide and single, Ishan Kishan was on strike on the 5th delivery of the match. Mukesh delivered a 139.8 KPHs full delivery and showed a hint of away swing. Kishan played all around it, on the wrong line and was beaten on the outside edge of the bat. The off-stump flew into the air and Ishan Kishan lost his balance and was down on the ground as the stumps went for a flight.

4-time champions Chennai Super Kings were off to great start courtesy of the young bowler's brilliant first over, dismissing both openers for a duck. Rohit was dismissed for a 2-ball duck while Ishan Kishan was dismissed for a golden duck, with Mumbai reduced to 2/2 after the first over. Mukesh went out to dismiss Dewald Brevis at #3 in the 3rd over, putting 5-time champions MI completely on the back foot. 

Earlier, Chennai Super Kings captain Ravindra Jadeja won the toss & opted to bowl first against Mumbai Indians in the 33rd match of IPL 2022. This match is being played at Dr DY Patil Sports Academy, Mumbai.
