ENG v IND: Mohammed Siraj is not only taking wickets at will but has also found a way to silence his haters every time he gets one. The Hyderabadi fast bowler, who made his debut on India's historic Australian tour earlier this year, announced that he is here to stay in Test cricket at what better ground than Lord's.

Siraj picked up four wickets in his first appearance at the historic ground and on all four occasions, he did his 'finger on the lips' celebration. At the end of the day's play on Saturday, the 27-year-old fast bowler revealed the reason behind the celebration.

“This story (celebration) is for the haters (critics) because they used to say a lot of things about me like he cannot do this and cannot do that. So, I will only let my ball do the talking and hence this is my new style of celebration.”

On being asked about the incident where bottle corks were being thrown at KL Rahul from the crowd, Siraj said: "I did not actually notice what happened but nothing (offensive) was said by the public.”

Incidentally, a similar thing happened with Siraj on the Australian tour where he complained of getting racially abused by a section of the crowd at Sydney Cricket Ground(SCG).
