India vs Sri Lanka: Mohammad Siraj, who was benched for the entire T20I series against West Indies, finally got a chance in the playing XI in the third T20I against Sri Lanka, and the pacer didn't disappoint as he uprooted Lankan opener Danushka Gunathilaka's off stump and sent him to the pavilion for a golden duck.

In the ongoing 3rd T20I match between India and Sri Lanka at Dharamsala, Indian captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and opted to bowl first, and his bowler proved the decision to be perfect as Indian pacers took 3 wickets inside the powerplay.

Mohammad Siraj, who missed the 3-match T20I series against West Indies and the first 2 T20Is against Sri Lanka, struck on the last ball of the very first over of the match. In the second match, India went wicketless in the first 6 overs as the bowlers bowled a fuller length. Here, however, Siraj pulled the length back as he bowled a short length bowl to the Lankan opener Danushka Gunathilaka who was facing his first ball.

The ball was angling across the left-hander and the batter tried to pull, but there wasn't enough room and managed only a thick bottom edge of the bat. The ball went on to uproot the off stumps, and Gunathilaka who looked good in the 2nd T20I with his 29-ball-38 was sent to the pavilion for a nought.
