GT vs SRH IPL 2022: 'Best vs Best' & Shami came out on top yet again against Kane Williamson. While the Sunrisers Hyderabad captain tackled carefully, the Gujarat Titans pacer didn't let the skip go on for long, dismissing the batter yet again.

After Shami bowled a good first over against Abhishek Sharma, where the batter looked uncomfortable and managed only 1 run via bat. However, struggling with the line, Shami gave away 10 wides. In the third over of the innings, Shami continued with the attack. 

On the 5th ball of the over, Shami bowled a full-length delivery with a beautiful seam position, upright, and swung in sharply. Kane Williamson, only managed a loose drive, giving the looks of an average batter. The ball went through the big gap between Kane's bat & pads and dislodged the stumps. 

Kane Williamson was dismissed after scoring just 5 runs in 8 balls, including a boundary. Mohammad Shami has now dismissed Kane Williamson 5 times in 11 innings in all T20s, giving away 70 runs in 53 balls. Out of this, Shami has dismissed Williamson 4 times in 7 innings in the IPL, with 48 runs in 38 balls. In this very match, Shami went on to dismiss Rahul Tripathi in this match after getting smacked for 14 runs in 3 balls.

Gujarat have lost just a single match in the 7 matches they've played so far and are placed second on the points table.
