ILT20: With thunderous fifties from West Indians Andre Fletcher and Nicholas Pooran, MI Emirates chased down 152 runs in overs to win the eliminator match by 8 wickets against Dubai Capitals. With this win, MI Emirates will now face Gulf Giants in the 2nd Qualifier to make it to the finals of the inaugural International League T20. 

Chasing 152 runs to win, MI Emirates lost opener Muhammad Waseem for just 2 runs on the third delivery of the innings. Number 3 Lorcan Tucker (10) was also dismissed early on in the 7th over when MI Emirates were at 48 runs. 

However, opener Andre Fletcher and #4 Nicholas Pooran showed exquisite batting as the duo etched an unbeaten partnership of 104 runs in 61 balls to achieve the target with 20 deliveries remaining. Fletcher scored an unbeaten 68 runs off 45 balls (4x4,6x4) while Pooran scored 66* runs in 36 balls (4x3,6x5).

In the first innings, opener George Munsey's fifty and useful contributions by Sikandar Raza and Rovman Powell guided Dubai Capitals to 151/5 in 20 overs. Munsey scored 51 runs in 43 balls with 6 fours & a six. Sikandar Raza scored 38 runs in 34 balls (4x4) while Rovman Powell smashed 30 runs in 22 balls (6x3).

For MI Emirates, Trent Boult and Rashid Khan picked up 2 wickets each while DJ Bravo grabbed 1 wicket. Earlier, MI Emirates captain Kieron Pollard won the toss & opted to bowl first against Dubai Capitals in the Eliminator of ILT20. This match was played at Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Sharjah.
