Mumbai Indians(MI) is considered to be one of the best T20 teams around the world by many cricket analysts. Going by the team's form in this season, this might be a true case as well. 

In a recent interview on ESPNcricinfo, Akash Chopra has said that Mumbai Indians can beat the Indian T20 cricket team if they play a three-match series with each other. 

"If there were a 3 match series between Mumbai Indians and the Indian T20 team, MI will give India a run for their money," Chopra said. 

However, Chopra said that this will only happen in a condition where Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya, and Jasprit Bumrah play for MI and not the Indian team. 

"I say that provided you have Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah playing for Mumbai Indians, not for team India then you look at this Mumbai Indians side, you put the best the team India has to offer in a T20 game across the series, Mumbai Indians might actually win the series 2-1," Akash Chopra stated. 

Mumbai Indians won their Qualifier 1 match against Delhi Capitals and entered the finals of IPL 2020. The second finalist will be decided in the Qualifier 2 match between Delhi Capitals and Sunrisers Hyderabad, to be played on Sunday.
