BCCI shared the pictures of the training session in which all the coaching staff, including MS Dhoni, can be seen having a discussion.

In the first press conference before the World Cup, Indian captain Virat Kohli was delighted to have Dhoni back with the squad.

"Massive experience. He is quite excited about getting back to the environment. He has always been a mentor for all of us, when we were starting our careers at the time he played and now he has the same opportunity to continue the same again. Especially the younger guys, who are in early stages of their career," Kohli had said.

"Just the experience that he has gained over the years and having conversations with him about the game. Such practical inputs and intricate details will help improve the game by one or two percent. We are absolutely delighted to have him back in the environment. His presence will further boost the morale and confidence of the team," added Kohli.
