Marnus Labuschagne's entertaining 49 and Chris Lynn's 52 helped Brisbane Heat score 173/5 against Melbourne Renegades in the first innings of the 49th match of the Big Bash League(BBL).
Opting to bat first, Heat scored 33 runs off the first four overs of the powerplay without losing any wicket. Max Bryant and Chris Lynn went on to add 78 runs for the first wicket. Lynn smacked 52 runs off 30 balls with the help of five fours and three sixes. Bryant got out two balls later after scoring 26 runs.
The rest of the middle order, barring Marnus Labuschagne, couldn't continue with the momentum as Heat lost wickets at regular intervals. Labuschagne, on the other hand, scored an entertaining 49 from 31 balls to take the team to a defendable score. His knock included three fours and two sixes.
How about this shot from Marnus Labuschagne!
