DC vs KKR IPL 2022: Rishabh Pant has been a revelation as a wicket-keeper. From getting booed and hearing 'Mahi' chants on every miss, to being India's favourite, Pant has come a long way with his skills as well as antics behind the wicket. The 24-year-old displayed similar characteristics as he helped Kuldeep Yadav to important wickets against KKR - with brilliance and with luck!

After DC bowlers rattled the KKR top-order, Kolkata were on their way to recover with Nitish Rana and Shreyas Iyer at the crease as the scoreboard read 83/5 after 13 overs. Kuldeep Yadav, who had taken two wickets in consecutive balls earlier, was again brought into the attack in the 14th over.

Shreyas Iyer was batting carefully with 42 runs in 36 balls. On the first delivery of the 14th over, Iyer was on strike. Kuldeep delivered a googly on a short length, the ball turned away after bouncing and stayed low and outside off. KKR skipper reached out to cut the bowl but only managed a faint bottom edge.

Delhi wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant followed the delivery and the ball was going towards his right boot. The wicketkeeper stuck his right mitt out, and completed the best wicketkeeping catch of the season so far!

West Indies' explosive batter Andre Russell came out to bat next. On the 4th delivery of the same over, the scoreboard read 83/6 with Russell yet to open his run account. Russell charged to take on the former teammate and missed the ball as it was kept low. Pant, very eager to get this important wicket, fumbled to collect the ball.

However, the ball brushed against his glove and went on to dislodge the bails with Russell way out of his crease. Andre Russell walked back to the pavilion with a three-ball duck, as Kuldeep picked his fourth wicket.
