Nitish Rana & Venkatesh Iyer contributed with 43 runs each of 24 & 26 deliveries respectively, and Knight Riders would bank on Shreyas Iyer & Andre Russell to handle pressure situations.

With Pat Cummins out of the tournament, KKR bowling may suffer a bit, as the Australian was the top wicket-taker for them in the last match against Mumbai. Andre Russell provided 2 wickets while Tim Southee and Varun Chakaravarthy chipped in with 1 wicket each.
