  • Time – 7:30 PM IST

KKR vs SRH Match Preview:

Kolkata Knight Riders have gone with a bunch of changes in the tournament already, and yet they backed all the players they started with, to register a comprehensive win against MI in their last fixture. Nitish Rana & Venkatesh Iyer contributed with 43 runs each of 24 & 26 deliveries respectively, and Knight Riders would bank on Shreyas Iyer & Andre Russell to handle pressure situations.

With Pat Cummins out of the tournament, KKR bowling may suffer a bit, as the Australian was the top wicket-taker for them in the last match against Mumbai. Andre Russell provided 2 wickets while Tim Southee and Varun Chakaravarthy chipped in with 1 wicket each.

Sunrisers Hyderabad are in a slump after winning 5 matches consecutively, having already lost 4 matches after that. In their last fixture, SRH batters were bowled out for 125 while chasing a target of 193. Only Rahul Tripathi showed good form as he smacked a fifty at #3 after openers - Kane Williamson & Abhishek Sharma were dismissed for a duck.

Umran Malik's high economy in the last few matches has been a constant headache for SRH, as the speedster used to provide important wickets in the middle overs. Afghanistan's Fazalhaf Farooqi got his debut cap in the last match for SRH but failed to pick up a wicket, going for 47 runs in 4 overs.
