PBKS vs LSG IPL 2022: Many friendly bonds are seen among cricketers, especially in the Indian Premier League where there are many players who have played with each other in the same team and yet face-off as competitors in the IPL. However, these bonds are limited to off-field, as the cricketer plays only for his team when a game starts.

Lucknow Super Giants captain KL Rahul showed similar passion as he took an excellent catch to dismiss his childhood friend & former opening partner, Mayank Agarwal. This happened in the 5th over of the PBKS inning, who were chasing a modest target.

Dushmantha Chameera was bowling the 5th over for Lucknow Super Giants. Chameera delivered a full delivery on the 4th bowl of the over, and Mayank made room to get under it. The PBKS captain struck it flat towards mid-off, and KL Rahul moved to his left and timed his jump to perfection and took it over his head.

Mayank was dismissed after scoring 25 runs in 17 balls with 2 fours and 2 sixes. It is noteworthy that KL Rahul used to play for Punjab Kings and captained the side before this season. Not only this, he used to open the innings for his childhood friend Mayank Agarwal. However, KL was released by Punjab Kings ahead of the IPL 2022 Mega Auction and was acquired by LSG as a draft pick for 17 crores INR.
