CSK vs SRH IPL 2022: Sunrisers Hyderabad made news after releasing Rashid Khan & Jonny Bairstow ahead of the IPL 2022 mega auction. The franchise retained only New Zealand captain Kane Williamson for 15 crores, along with uncapped Umran Malik & Abdul Samad. The captain has failed to perform as SRH lost the first two matches they've played this season. However, Kane showed signs of form against CSK.

Opening the innings for Sunrisers Hyderabad, Williamson started off cautiously and played his innings as he anchored the chase. Amidst this, the Kiwi skipper smacked 2 fours and a six.

The six, however, has garnered a lot of attention. Smacked against CSK all-rounder Moeen Ali, the speciality about this six was that it was one-handed. On the 5th delivery of the 8th over, Williamson stepped out of his crease to smack the ball but failed to reach the pitch of the ball. Consequently, his bottom hand came off the bat as Williamson went through with the shot and smacked it for a six down the ground.

However, his inning wasn't long-lasting as he went after scoring 32 runs in 40 balls. Along with uncapped Abhishek Sharma, the SRH openers added 89 runs in 73 balls for the first wicket.
