India levelled the 5-match T20I series against South Africa 2-2 after being 2-0 down in the series after the first two matches. Ishan Kishan was the top performer for team India with 206 runs to his name in 5 innings at a strike rate of 150.36 while averaging 41.20. 

Hardik Pandya continued his form from IPL 2022 and was the second-highest run-scorer for team India and the third-highest scorer overall with 117 runs in 4 innings, averaging an impeccable 58.50 with a strike rate of 153.94. 

The squad against Ireland has only three different names from the squad against South Africa - KL Rahul is missing out due to injury while Rishabh Pant & Shreyas Iyer are in England along with the test squad to prepare for the much-awaited final test between India and England on July 1st at Edgbaston.
