Afghanistan's explosive batter - Rahmanullah Gurbaz, can be seen playing for Gujarat Titans in the upcoming IPL 2022. The youngster has hinted at the same through his social media account. Gurbaz has posted a screenshot on his Instagram story in which he was being congratulated by his fans for being selected for Gujarat. However, there's no official confirmation for the same from Gujarat Lions. 

20-year old Ramanullah Gurbaz can replace English batter, Jason Roy. Roy had cited bubble fatigue and spending time with his family as reasons to pull out of the IPL 2022. Prior to this, Gujarat acquired the 31-year old batter at his base price of Rs. 2 crores INR.

Rahmanullah Gurbaz has represented Afghanistan in 9 ODIs and 20 T20 Internationals. The Afghan played has participated in Pakistan Super League, Lanka Premier League and in the T20 League as well. The 20-year old is known for his explosive batting and can keep the wickets as well.
