Chasing a mammoth total of 221, SRH started brilliantly with a new opening pair - Jonny Bairstow and Manish Pandey. The two smashed 57 runs in the powerplay. 

Pandey on the first ball after powerplay got out after scoring 31 from 20 with the help of three fours and two sixes. Bairstow got out in the next over after making 30 off 21. 

The SRH middle-order once again failed to make an impression and continued to lose wickets at regular intervals. Chris Morris and Mustafizur Rahman shared six wickets to restrict Hyderabad to 165 and win the match by 55 runs. 

Earlier, Rajasthan was asked to bat first. RR started decently scoring 42 runs in the powerplay despite losing Yashaswi Jaiswal early. 

Jos Buttler and Sanju Samson stitched 150 runs stand for the second wicket in just 88 balls. They dominated throughout the middle overs as Hyderabad failed to restrict the run flow. 

After Samson got out on 48 from 33 with the help of four fours and two sixes, Buttler was joined by Riyan Parag, who played a cameo of 15 from 8. 

Buttler reached his century in the process and went on to score 124 from just 64 balls in which he hit 11 fours and 8 sixes. Rajasthan finished at 220/3 in the first innings.
