In the 17th match of IPL 2021, Punjab Kings(PBKS) will meet Mumbai Indians(MI) in Chennai. Both the teams lost their last respective games and would want to get back into the winning ways in this match. 

Punjab Kings' batting once again flopped in the last game. None of the batters were able to adapt to Chennai conditions. KL Rahul will need to step up and lead from the front and help his team score runs. Mayank Agarwal has looked good but hasn't been able to convert the starts consistently.

Chris Gayle has been kept quiet so far in the tournament along with Nicholas Pooran. There is a case for Dawid Malan coming in for Pooran in this game. Shahrukh Khan and Deepak Hooda have done well so far. 

The bowlers had nothing to defend. However, they weren't able to check the run flow. Mohammad Shami hasn't been in the best of forms. Despite the loss, Punjab Kings might go with the same bowling lineup.

Mumbai Indians has played four matches so far in Chennai but still hasn't been able to play to its full potential. Despite good starts, the team has struggled to score runs in the middle overs. Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav will be crucial for MI to score runs in this phase. 

Quinton de Kock and Ishan Kishan haven't been able to score freely on a pitch that is offering turn rather than pace on the bat. 
James Neesham might come in place of Jayant Yadav in this game to add the batting and bowling depth to the team. Trent Boult and Rahul Chahar have been in fine form in this season so far.

Mumbai Indians has been a slightly better team than Punjab Kings in the past. Going by the current form, MI is looking favorites to win this match against struggling PBKS.
