Punjab Kings batting looks strong on paper but hasn't performed well according to the expectations. KL Rahul has been among runs but hasn't able to strike the ball well. Mayank Agarwal looked in excellent touch in the last game and will be crucial to give PBKS a good start. Chris Gayle hasn't yet fired and will remain a threat to the bowlers, and the same is the case of Nicholas Pooran. 

The bowling has hurt Punjab more. They haven't been able to control the flow of runs. Mohammad Shami has been expensive. Riley Meredith might get replaced by Chris Jordan in this game. PBKS might bring in a specialist leg-spinner - Ravi Bishnoi - in place of Jalaj Saxena. 

Sunrisers Hyderabad batting has been disappointing, to say the least. Neither they have been able to rotate strike nor been able to play aggressively. The middle-order needs a Kane Williamson in the batting lineup as soon as possible along with David Warner, who is the only batsman to look comfortable while at the crease. Kedar Jadhav might get a game soon. 

The bowling has been their biggest positive. Rashid Khan has choked runs in the middle phase. Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been expensive so far. 

Sunrisers Hyderabad has been a better team than Punjab Kings in their IPL fixtures so far. However, going by the current form, PBKS is looking favorites to win this contest against SRH.
