On the other hand, batting giants Virat Kohli and KL Rahul will return for team India and shoulder the Indian fans' hopes of lifting the 8th Asia Cup trophy. Amongst the players present in the squad, Suryakumar Yadav has scored the most runs this year in T20Is for team India - 428 runs in 12 matches at a strike rate of 189.38, and Pakistani bowlers would have to be careful against SKY.

In the bowling department, Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been the highest wicket-taker this year for India in T20Is with 20 wickets in 16 matches at a magnificent economy of 6.84. Although the pace bowling unit looks compromised in the absence of Harshal Patel and Jasprit Bumrah. Arshdeep Singh and Avesh Khan along with Hardik Pandya would have the huge responsibility of keeping the pace bowling tight and effective. 

For Pakistan, openers Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam have been in emphatic form in T20Is this year. Although Pakistan would miss the services of their ace pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi in Asia Cup, the bowling unit still looks decent. Haris Rauf has registered 26 wickets in 22 T20Is this year.
