New Zealand will take on India in the 3rd T20I on Sunday evening at Kolkata. India has taken an unassailable lead of 2-0 in the 3-match series.

IND v NZ Match Preview:

Indian openers Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul showed a brilliant touch in the last match. However, middle order has been an issue to worry about since in both the matches, the run rate slowed down considerably in the middle & death overs. Ishan Kishan or Ruturaj Gaikwad can be given an opportunity for some game time at the top of the order, while Venkatesh Iyer may move up the order too. 

R Ashwin has been the best bowler for India in the two matches. However, with the series already won, India may bring in young pace battery Avesh Khan for his debut. Harshal Patel delighted the fans and the team with his 'Player Of The Match' performance in the 2nd T20I, on his debut. 

New Zealand opener Martin Guptill played a fabulous knock of 70 runs in the first T20I match and then scored a quickfire 31 runs off 15 balls in the second match. Daryl Mitchell also looked to score runs in the last match. The challenge for the NZ batting would be to score quickly in the later stages of the match.

New Zealand made 3 changes in the playing XI in the last match: brought in Neesham, Milne & Sodhi. The possibility of making a change in the XI now is bleak and the Kiwis would be hoping to win the toss & bowl first so that they can counter the dew factor and trouble the Indian batters.
