IND v NZ Match Preview:

India was dismayed with their batting in their first two matches of the T20 World Cup. Rahul Dravid will start his stint as head coach while Rohit Sharma will be captaining the side as Virat Kohli's tenure as T20 captain came to an end after the T20 World Cup. Kohli has been rested for the T20Is.

Jadeja & Shami have been rested while Hardik Pandya has been dropped. There would be a lot of fresh faces in the squad - players who have made their spot through exceptional performance in IPL - Venkatesh Iyer, Harshal Patel, Avesh Khan & Ruturaj Gaikwad. Yuzvendra Chahal, Axar Patel & Mohammad Siraj would like to strengthen their case for a comeback. 

In the Kiwi side, who played the T20 World Cup final against Australia on Sunday, Trent Boult & Colin de Grandhomme are rested due to bubble fatigue. Kane Williamson has also decided to rest for the T20Is and will return for the Test matches.

The pace bowling department will be led by Tim Southee who will captain the side in the absence of Williamson. Ajaz Patel will lead the NZ spin attack comprising William Somerville & Mitchell Santner.
