All the Indian batsmen had got good starts in the last match, but, only Hardik Pandya and Shikhar Dhawan could convert them. Pandya was the biggest positive for the Indian batting since there were doubts about him playing as a pure batsman in ODI format. Shreyas Iyer might get replaced by Manish Pandey at the number 4 spot. 

It was an off day for the bowlers. No bowler was able to restrict the run flow. Kuldeep Yadav might get a game if Yuzvendra Chahal is unavailable for selection for the next match. 

Australian batsmen had a perfect day. Aaron Finch and Steve Smith got back into form by scoring centuries. David Warner played a good knock of 69 while supporting Finch in a 156 run partnership. Glenn Maxwell played a gun innings of 45 runs in 19 balls and was handy with the ball as well. 

Josh Hazlewood bounced out the Indian top order. Adam Zampa took four wickets, including two crucial wickets of Rahul and Pandya. 

Australians had a complete performance in the last match and will take good confidence from their win. Indians, on the other hand, have plenty to ponder on. The hosts are looking favorites to win the second game as well.
