Mumbai, May 24 (CRICKETNMORE): India's veteran pacer Ashish Nehra was on Tuesday advised to undergo surgery on his right knee after he sustained a high-grade tendon injury during the ninth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Nehra, who plays for franchise Sunrisers Hyderabad, had sustained the injury during the match against Kings XI Punjab on May 15 which his team won by seven wickets.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) recommended Nehra to consult Andrew Williams, orthopaedic specialist in London and the latter advised the pacer to undergo surgery on his right knee.
