Wet outfield, rain rob second day's play in 4th Test ()
Port of Spain (Trinidad), Aug 20 (CRICKETNMORE) Wet outfield, soggy conditions and a fresh downpour in the afternoon prevented any play on the second day of the fourth cricket Test between India and the West Indies at Queen's Park Oval here on Friday.
While heavy rains and thunderstorms stopped play from post-lunch session on first day (Thursday), soft infield and muddy outfield made the slippery ground unfit to resume the match even after the scheduled tea-time.
Before umpires Umpire Red Tucker and Nigel Llong could do final inspection for resuming play, rain gods returned to play spoilsport on the second day too, as the historic stadium does not have a super sopper to dry up the wet ground.
