Team India will host South Africa for a 5-match T20I series in preparation for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2022 in October. After the completion of IPL 2022, India would be itching to try out the non-regular players who have performed well in the Indian Premier League over seasons.

Both these teams would be eyeing to win the T20 World Cup down under and in the absence of regular names like Rohit Sharma & Virat Kohli in the Indian team, young and new names would have a chance to leave their mark against the Proteas.
