Royal Challengers Bangalore Captain Virat Kohli won the toss and elected to bat first against Kolkata Knight Riders in the 31st Match of the IPL 2021. The match is being played at Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi.

RCB has been cleaned up on 92 in 19 overs by KKR. None of the RCB batters could stand against the KKR bowlers. Fans had high hopes from RCB's Wanindu Hasaranga, who was making his IPL debut in this match, but for him, this debut was like a nightmare.

Hasaranga was given out lbw on the very first ball. He was dismissed by Varun Chakravarthy who took two wickets in two consecutive balls. After this Hasranga flopped with the bat but his performance with the ball is yet to come.
