Melbourne, Nov 14 (IANS) Brad Haddin was Friday ruled out of the remainder of the Carlton Mid ODI Series against South Africa but Australia's medical staff are hopeful that the wicketkeeper batsman will be fit for the first Test against India starting Dec 4.
"Brad has had a further assessment of his right shoulder by Cricket Australia (CA) Chief Medical Officer John Orchard in Sydney which confirmed an AC (Acromioclavicular) joint injury," CA physiotherapist Alex Kountouris said in a CA release.
“He has improved and responded to treatment since returning from the UAE but has not recovered sufficiently to return to training and therefore he has been declared unfit for the remainder of ODI series against South Africa.
