RCB vs GT IPL 2022: Glenn Maxwell revamped himself in IPL 2021 after being acquired by Royal Challengers Bangalore. In IPL 2022, even though the all-rounder has failed to leave a lasting mark with the bat, he has given his all in other departments. In an important do-or-die clash against Gujarat Titans, the 'Big Show' showed up for Royal Challengers Bangalore, providing the opening wicket early on with impressive athleticism.

Gujarat Titans were at 21/0 in the third over with Shubman Gill batting at a score of 1 run in 3 deliveries, while Wriddhaman Saha was playing the aggressor on the other end. Australian pacer Josh Hazlewood was brought into the attack to bowl the 3rd over, and the bowler delivered.

On the 3rd delivery, Hazlewood bowled a proper test match delivery, a simple outswinger on a good length. Shubman Gill tried to tackle with a lazy defence with no foot movement at all. The GT opener tried to poke it away from his body with hard hands. The ball took a thick edge off Gill's bat and was flying towards the third man.

Glenn Maxwell was placed wide of slip and dived full length towards to his right to catch it out of thin air. A wide slip and incredible athleticism by Glenn Maxwell brought RCB the opening wicket in the 3rd over in a do-or-die match against Gujarat Titans.
