Shivam Dube's unbeaten 64 powered Rajasthan Royals to a seven-wicket win against Chennai Super Kings in the 47th match of IPL 2021 in Abu Dhabi on Saturday.

Chasing a target of 190, RR was off to a flier as Evin Lewis, and Yashaswi Jaiswal smashed 77 in the first 32 balls. Royals went on to score 81 in the powerplay. Lewis smashed 27 from 12 with the help of two fours and two sixes.

Jaiswal continued to power as reached his fifty in just 19 balls but got out soon; he hit six fours and three sixes.

If CSK thought the wickets will open the game, comeback man Shivam Dube had other plans. Dube attacked from ball one and took the game away from Chennai single-handedly. Sanju Samson played the anchor role from the other end.

Samson and Dube added 89 runs for the third wicket in 59 balls. After RR captain got out scoring 28, the match had already reached its result. Dube and Glenn Philipps completed the chase with 15 balls to spare.

Earlier, CSK was put in to bat first. Chennai started cautiously and only scored 44 inside the powerplay. Faf du Plessis scored 25 off 19 before Rahul Tewatia got him out stumped. He soon removed Suresh Raina, who was promoted to number 3.

Moeen Ali and Ruturaj Gaikwad added 57 off 36 balls for the third wicket to set the platform. However, it was the partnership of Gaikwad and Ravindra Jadeja that took CSK to a competitive total.

The two smashed 55 off 22 balls, where Jadeja hit 32 from 15 with the help of four fours and a six while Gaikwad smashed his way to his maiden IPL century. The youngster hit nine fours and five sixes during his unbeaten 101 from 60 balls.
