Kolkata, Nov 13 (IANS) Having witnessed star batsman Rohit Sharma score a record breaking ODI double century for the second time, Indian skipper Virat Kohli Thursday said he was fortunate to have been part of a historic feat.
Heaping lavish praise on Sharma for his unbelievable 264 against Sri Lanka, Kohli said: "It was one of such days that I can tell my kids later on, that I was present there. Such a wonderful day for Rohit and I am really happy for him... the first batsman to score two double hundreds. I don't think it can be broken any time soon."
Kohli, who scored 66 runs and stitched a 202-run partnership with Sharma, said he kept on egging the Mumbaikar during times when they were finding it difficult to score freely.
