England has a batting problem. The lineup lacks a solidity, which could be seen during the 1st test. Haseeb Hameed might get into the number 3 slot in place of Zak Crawley for this match. Joe Root is the key batter for England and gives a sense of assurance in the middle order with Jonny Bairstow and Jos Buttler to come after him. 

The bowling attack was at par in the first test. Ollie Robinson is one of the top upcoming stars for England. 

India's batting did a decent job in the last test. Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul gave a solid start to the team, while the lower order gave an improved performance with the bat. Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli, and Ajinkya Rahane will be the trio to watch out for.
