England had the dream start to their World Cup campaign, as they shattered defending champions West Indies' batting line up for a score of 55, winning the match by 6 wickets. Although England losing 4 wickets chasing a score of 56 can be worrying for the English team.

Adil Rashid was on fire against West Indies, as he picked up 4 wickets, giving away just 2 runs in his 2.2 overs. Tymal Mills & Moeen Ali picked up 2 wickets, Woakes & Jordan picked up 1 scalp apiece. All English bowlers picked up wickets which is a good sign. 

Bangladesh, on the other hand, were defeated in their first match against Sri Lanka. For Bangladesh, Mohammad Naim & Mushfiqur Rahim looked in good touch as they scored 62(52) & 57*(37) respectively, as they scored a total of 171/4 against Sri Lanka.

Bangladesh bowling though didn't look as effective. Experienced all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan picked up 2 wickets and Nasum Ahmed picked up 2, while Saifuddin picked up 1 wicket. But the bowling unit could not defend a score of 171 after picking a wicket in the first over, and 3 quick wickets the 9th and 10th over.
