Joe Root's timely fifty and an unbeaten 73-run partnership with Dom Sibley has made sure England goes past India's 95 and takes a 24-run lead in the 1st session of day 4. 

Resuming the day at 25/0, England lost wickets early in the morning session. Mohammed Siraj removed Rory Burns for 18 while Jasprit Bumrah got Zak Crawley soon.

Root then joined Sibley to counter the Indian bowling attack that was breathing fire at the moment. The final hour, though, became good for batting and the pair capitalized on it and went past the score of 95.
