Both the teams have got a marvelous start to the tournament. Dubai Capitals opened their account with a stupendous 73-run win over Abu Dhabi Knight Riders. 

In the match, Indian stalwart Robin Uthappa scored 43 runs in 33 balls which included 3 fours and 2 sixes. Rovman Powell played captains inning as he flew 3 sixes and an equal number of fours in his 48 runs knock that came off 29 deliveries.

England star Joe Root and Sikandar Raza also made important 29-29 runs respectively which took the Dubai Capitals to 187/6.

The rest of the game was closed down by skipper James Vince who hammered 65 runs in 44 balls with 4 sixes and a same number of fours. The team chased the below-par total of 114 runs with ease and got to a good start.
