In the 53rd match of IPL 2021, Punjab Kings will take on Chennai Super Kings in Dubai on 7th October.

Chennai Super Kings' batting faltered in the last match. CSK heavily depends on Ruturaj Gaikwad and Faf du Plessis to score and give a good start. Ambati Rayudu has been in good touch in the middle, while Ravindra Jadeja has played the finisher role brilliantly.

Dwayne Bravo has been at his best and has picked wickets in the death overs. Shardul Thakur, too, has given breakthroughs bowling in the middle overs. Jason Behrendorff might play this game if CSK decides to rest Josh Hazlewood ahead of playoffs.

Punjab Kings, too, rely on openers KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal to score runs. Only Aiden Markram has looked solid apart from the openers in the UAE leg.

Moises Henriques made a good comeback in the last match and picked three wickets; he will be crucial with both bat as well as the ball. Ravi Bishnoi could be the game-changer.

The rivalry between these two teams is in favour of the MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings, who have defeated Punjab Kings 15 times in the 24 matches.
