On March 4th (Saturday), the cricketing world received a great shock as legendary Australian leg-spinner Shane Warne, died at the age of 52 due to a heart attack.
Warne's management company released a statement that the former Aussie giant was found unresponsive in his villa in Koh Samui, Thailand. The statement further stated that despite the best efforts of the medical team Shane Warne couldn't be revived.
The reason for his sudden demise isn't released in detail and will be released in due time by Shane Warne's family. Many famous people from the cricketing fraternity posted their condolences and grief at the passing away of the legendary spinner, who took 708 wickets in his Test career, which ranks at second position among the highest wicket-takers in Test cricket.
This news has come just hours after another Australian legend, former keeper-batter Rod Marsh died aged 74 after he was put into a sleep-induced coma due to cardiac arrest.
