Chennai Super Kings Giving Special Tribute To MS Dhoni During IPL Auction 2021

IPL Auction for the upcoming will be held today in Chennai. All eight teams are going to bid on 292 players who have registered for this season. 

Chennai Super Kings(CSK) today are giving a special tribute to MS Dhoni as they sit at the bidding table. CSK's officials who will be participating in the bidding are wearing special masks in which the number 7 is written. They are also wearing T-shirts in which 'Definitely Not' is written. 

No.7 is the jersey number of MS Dhoni while 'Definitely Not' was the most quoted phrase during the IPL 2020. Dhoni said this quote when he was asked if the IPL 2020 will be his last season in the yellow jersey. He only said two words but they got echoed throughout the cricketing world. 

IPL 2021 is expected to be the last season for the former Indian captain since he retired from international cricket in 2020 and hasn't been playing cricket regularly. If it is the last for MS Dhoni, then it will be a huge season for both franchise and the fans, who are also expected to return to stadiums during IPL 2021.
