Dubai, Oct 5 (IANS) Indian batsman Virat Kohli will be aiming to reclaim his No.1 ranking in the International Cricket Council (ICC) Player Rankings for ODI Batsmen when he takes the field against the West Indies in the five-match ODI series starting Oct 8.
Kohli, who is ranked third, surged to the top of the table earlier this year but slipped after missing the series against Bangladesh, the ICC said in a statement Sunday. He now trails top ranked AB de Villiers by 24 ratings points and second ranked Hashim Amla by three points.
India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni (sixth) and opener Shikhar Dhawan (seventh) are the other India batsman featuring in the top 10.
