Sunrisers Hyderabad, who are having a rather unforgettable season, are currently placed last in the points table. In the 40th match of the IPL 2021, SRH were able to turn things around and defeated Rajasthan Royals by 7 wickets, chasing down 165 in 18.3 overs.

Jason Roy, who was brought in place of out of form ex SRH captain David Warner, scored 60 off 42 balls while captain Williamson scored an unbeaten 51 to take his side to their second victory in 10 matches this IPL. 

Even though things may look over for the SRH side with their 8 losses, the crowd in the middle of the points table & rest of the fixtures are aligned in a way that with a little hard work and a lot of luck, SRH can still make it to the playoffs.

If the results given above are followed then the points table would look like this:

#8. MI - 10 Points.
