Bihar cricket body takes on BCCI over Lodha panel report ()
Kolkata,1 March। Cricket Association of Bihar (CAB) secretary Aditya Verma on Tuesday criticised the Indian cricket board over its decision to move the Supreme Court over difficulties in implementation of the Justice R.M. Lodha Committee recommendations.
"Besides announcing its decision to file an affidavit in the Supreme Court against the Lodha Committee recommendations, the Board of Control for Cricket in India has also got its affiliated state units like Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Baroda, Mumbai etc. to challenge the report," Verma said.
"This is an act of conflict of interest by the BCCI as it is the same board which stood by the committee when they suspended Chennai Super Kings (CSK) from the Indian Premier League (IPL)," he said.
