In the 21st match of the IPL 2022, Sunrisers Hyderabad will face Gujarat Titans at Mumbai's DY Patil Stadium. Both SRH and GT won their previous game respectively.

Let's take a look at the best impact players to watch out for in the SRH vs GT IPL match today:

Trending

1) Kane Williamson - SRH will be encountering some quality pace bowling upfront. Hyderabad will require Williamson to play through the inning and keep control from one end while the rest of the batters take chances.

Williamson fairs well against pace bowling. Against medium pace, Williamson strikes at 126 and averages 30 while facing high pace, his strike rate goes up to 159 and averages 59.

2) Rahul Tripathi - Gujarat's pace attack operates throughout the middle overs and SRH would require someone to take the charge of scoring quickly against them. Tripathi scores at a strike rate of 142 vs right arm pace bowling and averages near 29.

Tripathi scored a quick 39 in just 15 balls against Chennai Super Kings with the help of five fours and two sixes. His intent will be crucial for SRH to keep up with the scoring rate.

3) Rashid Khan - None of the SRH batters are well equipped to face quick leg-spin, except maybe Nicholas Pooran. Rashid Khan will operate in the middle overs and could cause major damage to SRH's batting lineup.

His control and accuracy won't let SRH batters score easily. If Gujarat's pacers do a good job in the powerplay, Hyderabad will try to take chances against Rashid to get a move on.

Nicholas Pooran vs Rashid Khan will be an interesting battle. Pooran has a strike rate of over 141 against leg-spin and an average of close to 46. But against Rashid, Pooran has struggled. In 37 balls bowled by Rashid, Pooran has scored just 21 runs and has been out twice.

4) Gujarat's Pace Duo - Mohammad Shami and Lockie Ferguson are two fast bowlers with different strengths. Shami uses the new ball to trouble the batters and delivers at a constant speed of close to 140 kmph.

Ferguson is fast. He bowls through the middle overs and uses his extreme pace to intimidate the batter. He can bowl accurately bowl hard lengths and is very tough to score against.

Both Shami and Ferguson can rattle the SRH batting lineup with pace and swing.
