In the battle of the heavyweights, Mumbai Indians will face Royal Challengers Bangalore at Pune's MCA Stadium. RCB is on a two-match winning streak while MI is still winless in three matches.

Let's take a look at the best impact players to watch out for in the RCB vs MI IPL match today:

Trending

1) Glenn Maxwell - RCB hasn't been able to push against spinners in the middle overs so far. The addition of Maxwell will be very crucial to attack spin and keep up the scoring rate. Maxwell has a strike rate of 143 against wrist spin and an average of 28. Against pace as well, the Australian all-rounder scored at a rate of 154 and averages 36.

2) Harshal Patel - He is RCB's go-to bowler when it comes to defensive bowling. Harshal mixes his line, lengths, and pace throughout the 24 balls he bowls. He generally comes in the second half of the inning and bowls in slog overs. This is exactly why he consistently picks wickets.

A good set of bowlers in RCB means that the batters have to take chances against him. Patel has an economy of 5.42 this season so far.

3) Dewald Brevis - The 18-year-old youngster showed glimpses of his range against pace and spin. In his IPL debut match against KKR, Brevis scored 29 in 19 balls at a strike rate of more than 152. He will surely be a treat to watch when he'll come out to bat today at number three.
