The 35th match of the IPL 2022 will be played between Kolkata Knight Riders and Gujarat Titans at Mumbai's Dr. DY Patil Sports Academy. The match will be a day game, starting from 3:30 PM IST. While Gujarat is coming into this game with a win in the last game, Kolkata suffered a loss. 

Let's take a look at the best players for today's IPL match between KKR-GT in terms of impact: 

1) Lockie Ferguson - One of the key aspects of why Gujarat has been successful so far, is the pace bowling lineup they have. While Mohammad Shami has been splendid with the new ball, Ferguson has troubled the batters with his high pace. 

Ferguson is constantly touching speeds of over 145 and with accuracy. His use of the short ball has often meant that the ball has gone over the head of the keeper but no batter is ever comfortable playing that much pace. 

The batting lineup of KKR hasn't been doing that well this season and facing high pace bowling is one point that troubles most of their batters. If Ferguson has a good day, there is a good chance of him wrecking the KKR middle order. 

2) Andre Russell - One batter that can dismantle any type of bowling is the West Indian hard hitter Russell. He has already shown the signs of him in a great rhythm. Russell has no problem facing high pace and will use that speed to give the ball a good distance to travel. 

Russell vs Ferguson & Rashid Khan will be an interesting battle. GT has used Ferguson and Rashid in tandem, which means when comes to bowling, the other follows.

Rashid is also very valuable with the bat. In the last match, he played a match-winning cameo of 40 in 21 balls. He has a knack for playing such knocks that can change the momentum of the game.
