Mumbai, March 4। The Indian cricket board on Friday concluded the random draw of tickets on the lottery basis for the semi-finals and the final of both men's and women's sections of the upcoming World Twenty20.
"The process has been laid down to ensure transparency and provide an equal opportunity to all the cricket fans, to participate and witness these matches," Board of Control for Cricket in India secretary Anurag Thakur said in a release.
"Considering the enormous demand for these identified matches (4 India matches, 2 semi-finals and the final) a limited inventory of tickets are being sold through this unique lottery system. I congratulate all the winners who have won their tickets online and invite them to witness these matches," he said.
