Captain Alex Carey's 101 powers Adelaide Strikers to 197/5 against Brisbane Heat in the 46th match of the Big Bash League(BBL). 

Strikers opted to bat first and got off to a brilliant start scoring 43 runs in the powerplay without losing any wicket. Opener Jake Weatherald scored 36 off 18 with the help of five fours and a six. He got out when the scorecard read 66 in 6 overs. 

Travis Head and Philip Salt gave good company to an unstoppable Alex Carey. Carey smacked the bowlers all around the ground to reach his hundred in the last over. His 101 off 62 balls included ten fours and three sixes.

None of the Heat bowlers couldn't do much, however, returning from national duty, Marnus Labuschagne took two wickets in his two overs while conceding 20 runs.
