Dhaka, Nov 24 (IANS) Bangladesh beat Zimbabwe by 68 runs in the second one day international (ODI) at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury stadium in Chittagong Sunday, to go 2-0 up in the five-match cricket series.
Batting first, Bangladesh set Zimbabwe a target of 251 runs in their allocated 50 overs, losing 7 wickets. However, the Zimbabweans were bowled out for 183 runs in 44.5 overs, Xinhua reported.
Earlier, Bangladesh captain Mashrafe Mortaza won the toss and decided to bat first and Bangladesh set a fighting target, propelled by Anamul Haque (80 runs) and Tamim Iqbal (76 runs).
