LSG vs CSK IPL 2022: Chennai Super Kings are facing off against Lucknow Super Giants in the 7th match of IPL 2022. At the match being played at Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai, Lucknow Captian Kl Rahul won the toss and opted to bowl first, after which Chennai posted a total of 210/7 in 20 overs. During this, Lucknow Super Giants lead pacer Avesh Khan was taken for plenty of runs. However, he made a brilliant comeback in his 3rd over. 

Robin Uthappa, who came out to open the innings for Chennai Super Kings and took Lucknow bowlers head-on. Before getting dismissed Robin Uthappa scored 50 runs off just 27 balls. Moeen Ali also looked in good form and playing his first match of the season, the all-rounder smacked 35 runs off 22 balls. However, Avesh Khan followed up with his pace and speed and bowled Moeen Ali, sending him back to the pavilion. Avesh displayed excellent aggression throughout his spell.

It is noteworthy that before dismissing Moeen, Avesh had already given away 21 runs in 2 overs. For the same reason, Avesh looked more aggressive in his 3rd over. On the very first ball of his over, the England all-rounder was beaten by pace and the ball went straight onto the stumps, ending Moeen Ali's inning on 35.

While talking about the match, after being put in to bat first by Lucknow Super Giants captain KL Rahul, Chennai Super Kings posted a total of 210/7 on the board courtesy of 50 from Uthappa and 49 from Shivam Dube, along with MSD providing the finishing touch with 16*(6). In reply, LSG started off strong as KL Rahul and Quinton de Kock added 99 runs in 10.1 overs. KL Rahul was dismissed after scoring 40 runs while de Kock smacked 61 runs. Evin Lewis smashed an unbeaten 55 runs off just 23 balls to take Lucknow Super Giants to their first victory in the IPL.
